Join us in RMB City （Aug 2008）

RMB City is an online-based virtual art community (in Second Life) and public platform for creativity initiated by artist Cao Fei (Second Life name: China Tracy). The project explores the creative relationship between real and virtual space, and is a reflection of China's urban and cultural explosion. RMB City Team is a multi-disciplinary design studio devoted to the development and management of the RMB City Project.

RMB City Team is currently seeking additional team members to work on diverse fields.

Second Life 3D Designer
Associate's Degree or Above, Background in Architecture, industrial design or City Planning is preferred, 2 years relevant work experience, strong ability in Concept design, familiar with 3D software: Auto CAD, Photoshop, 3D Max. Interested in Online communities/games. Candidates familiar with Second Life will receive priority consideration. Good English communication ability, a friendly personality, a love for team collaboration, as well as proactive independent work, a responsible, efficient, logical yet creative approach to work along with a strong team spirit.

Main duties include:
1.Assisting Chief designer/engineer and the team to realize design concepts of City Planning and City landscape design
2.Working with team members to collect design information and communicate with engineers
3. Realizing minor individual projects in Second Life

Researcher/Archive Editor
Associate's Degree or above, 1 year work experience is preferred.
Interested in online media, with an ability to combine and analyze information. Strong skills in editing, crating, writing (in both Chinese and English). Media editing /sociology research experience and proficiency with photo and media software will receive priority consideration. Must have good communication skills, a strong sense of independent responsibility and also team spirit.

Main duties include:
1. Collecting and editing information and multimedia documentation, managing the archive
2.Leading research direction and organizing team do online research
3.Writing relevant critiques, summaries, and articles

RMB City 急需招聘以下专业人员：

SecondLife 3D设计师:
招聘人数：1人
大专或以上学历, 有建筑或工业设计、城市规划专业相关背景，有2年以上的工作经验，具有较强的概念设计能力，掌握三维图形软件auto CAD Photoshop、 3Dmax 等专业设计软件，或者具有相当的专业经验，能协助完成深化设计。喜爱网络游戏，熟悉掌握“第二人生”（SecondLife) 游戏者优先考虑。有良好的英文沟通能力, 性格开朗，能适应团队合作，工作认真、积极主动执行交办工作、工作效率高、条理性强、有团队合作精神、能吃苦、敬业。

工作内容：
1、协助总设计师与整个设计团队一起深化与修改在SecondLife上的城市景观设计，以及参与城市规划发展
2、能在SecondLife上独立完成小的设计项目
3、依据项目工作计划，负责收集并整理项目设计资料

研究／编辑人员：
招聘人数：1人
学历要求要大专以上，有一年工作经验者，热爱网络媒体，具有整合资讯及分析信息的能力，有较强的编辑、策划和写作（中／英）能力。有媒体编辑工作经验以及社会学研究经验和较好的图文处理能力者优先，对“第二人生”（SecondLife)游戏有一定了解优先。工作上要有较好的沟通合作能力和组织能力，有强烈的工作责任心和团队精神.

工作内容：
1、收集采编信息，编辑信息及相关图片，整合归档资料库中的图文信息
2、开启研究方向以及组织研究小组进行网络生态研究。
3、撰写研究相关评论以及文章

工作地点：北京CBD区
工作时间：周一至周六
